Series of events and educational programmes
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Crete participates again this year in the celebrations for the International Museum Day with a series of events and educational programmes.
On Saturday, 18 May 2013 at 12:30μ.μ., harpist Eleni Tsaousaki and flutist Irene Vouzi will perform on the CCA premises contemporary compositions for flute and harp by Claude Debussy, Alan Hovhanness, Joseph Jongen and Eric Satie.
The pieces form part of the two musicians’ concert East meets West, which is about Western composers whose work carries influences and elements from the music of the East.
As part of this celebration, the training programmes of the Workshops of Fine Arts of the Museum are dedicated to the International Museum Day.
We extend an open invitation to all children of our city.
